What's in your report

Your retirement income, line by line, from your real numbers

Most federal employees have never seen their pension, TSP, Social Security and benefit costs added up in one place. Your Gap Report does exactly that, then shows what's missing.

  • FERS or CSRS pension estimate
  • FERS supplement to age 62
  • TSP income estimate
  • Social Security timing
  • FEGLI cost after retirement
  • FEHB and Medicare
  • Survivor benefit options
  • Long-term care exposure
  • Your monthly income gap

How it works

Three simple steps

1

30-minute intake call

We gather the basics: service dates, salary, TSP balance, your health and life insurance, and your family situation.

2

We build your report

Your Gap Report is ready 24–48 hours after the call, built from your own numbers.

3

Walk through it together

On a follow-up call we explain every line. If there's a gap, we can show options that might fill it. You decide what happens next.

Helpful to have handy

A few documents make your report more accurate

  • Your most recent SF-50
  • A recent Leave and Earnings Statement (pay stub)
  • Your latest TSP statement
  • Your Social Security statement (from ssa.gov)
  • Your current FEHB and FEGLI elections

Don't have them all? Book anyway. We'll work with what you have.

Pick a time that works for you

The call takes about 30 minutes. Your report follows 24–48 hours later.

Questions

Is the Gap Report really free?

Yes. There's no cost and no obligation.

Will you try to sell me something?

The intake call and the report are education only. If your report shows a gap, we can show you options on a separate call, but only if you want to.

Who will I talk to?

Joe Corozza, our federal benefits specialist. He works with federal employees every day and will walk you through your report.

Do I need all my documents first?

No. They make the report more precise, but we can start with what you know.

Are you part of OPM or the government?

No. Federal Benefits Sherpa is independent and isn't affiliated with OPM, the Social Security Administration or the TSP.
