Meet your Sherpa
Joe Corozza
Joe has spent more than a decade helping people near or in retirement turn a lifetime of work and saving into income they can count on. A large part of his practice is devoted to federal employees, and he has worked directly with federal personnel for years on exactly the questions this site covers.
Joe graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2001 and began his career coaching college football. In 2012 he brought that same focus on preparation, strategy and teamwork to financial services. He has since worked with hundreds of retirees and pre-retirees, and since 2021 he has also partnered with other financial professionals on complex retirement and legacy cases.
For federal families, Joe puts the whole package together: your FERS or CSRS pension, survivor benefit elections, FEHB health coverage, FEGLI life insurance and TSP income, so you can see how it all works and where the gaps are. His approach is conservative and patient, and every conversation starts with education.
